In Episode #1, I ride back in time to 1987, when the fashionably undead sported moussed hair and raced stripped down motorcycles around Santa Clara. My inaugural episode—chronicling the odds The Lost Boys overcame to make it to screen—runs 29:29.
Each episode is me reading a revised and expanded version of my newsletter production history. New episodes will arrive regularly, with revised archive stories appearing in the newsletter—stories I’ve deepened with new analysis and extensive quotes from the filmmakers. For the podcast, The Lost Boys expanded from 3,300 words to 5,500.
My aim with the podcast is to reach more of you wherever you are: waiting in line for coffee, commuting, exercising, folding laundry, or simply not looking at a screen.
